Ava is short tempered and trigger happy. She will do anything or kill anyone to protect what is hers. She is mean, and sadistic, yet she is loyal to her group. She is a good little soldiers and takes orders from her Superior well. However when forced to act quickly Ava is great. She processes information quickly and usually can get a lot of people out of a tight jam.

Ava joined the marines as soon as she turned eighteen. It was all that she ever wanted to do. She was the only child of a single father who was also a Marine. Her mother died when she was very young and her father never remarried. Ava grew up on military bases all of her life. Soon after enlisting, Ava decided to train to become a nurse practitioner, and she was great at her. Her extreme disregard for human life made her not care about her patients or their families. Saving them was her own personal goal, however if they died, it was just another loss.

When the infection broke out, Ava had just returned home from a grueling two year deployment in Afghanistan. She was one of the survivors from Robins Air Force Base near Macon Georgia.
